Route 666

On one of my occasional wanderings through the Wikipedia, I found an interesting article about the former Route 666 that connects extends from Monticello, Utah, to Gallup, New Mexico. (It is now Highway 491.)

This may just confirm to all of you that I am, in fact, the geekiest of geeks, but I found the article interesting. If you have ever wondered how highway numbers are chosen, you'll probably learn more than you really wanted to know if you read the article.

Here's another interesting bit on Route 66.
